OZZY OSBOURNE And PAUL MCCARTNEY Won't Sing Together At BRIT AWARDS
January 4, 2008According to Showbiz Spy, rumors of a duet between Paul McCartney and Ozzy Osbourne at this year's the Brit Awards (the British equivalent of the Grammy Awards) have been shot down by the award show's bosses.
The legendary music gods were reported to be collaborating on a unique version of Bond theme "Live And Let Die" for the music bash at London's Earls Court on February 20.
"It is not true at all," says a spokesperson. "Someone made it up."
58-year-old Ozzy — who will be hosting the ceremony with wife Sharon, 55 — is still nervous because he's concerned about making a fool of himself in front of his idol.
"The Brits have been playing on Ozzy's mind," a pal told Britain's Daily Star newspaper. "He's worried about coming a cropper in front of Macca."
Sir Paul, 65, will receive the Outstanding Contribution To Music gong at the award show, to be held in London later this year.
